1) Sign up
If you could pick any career, what would it be?
What's the cool, prestigious, job that you would love to do?
Where do you put your creative energy?
Choose the path you want to work in and start developing that portfolio!
2) Briefly review the brief
Each week, you will receive a new creative brief to your email inbox. The contents of this document will mimic the information you would receive about a project during a kickoff meeting.
The exact attributes will vary depending on the path you've chosen, but in general you'll see information like:
-Client
-Campaign Overview
-Tone
In addition to the above, you'll also receive a punch sheet with a list of expected deliverables.
3) Get creative
Do your thing.
Keep in mind a few reminders:
-It's important that you complete *something*, so give yourself a deadline and hold yourself accountable.
-There is always going to be a gap between what you want to do and what you can do. The week long time limit is important because it is realistic to what you'll see in the workforce.
-If you don't feel inspired by this week's brief, you'll have a new one next Sunday.
At the end of the week, you'll have the option to submit what you've developed and we'll post our favorites on social each week.
